Just one today. I think the last two are going to take more thinking from me. Thinking is hard. :( Also, for some reason [ profile] khrfest is always at a bad time for me. Last time I went to Hong Kong in the middle of it, this time I'll be at my mom's place in Seattle the whole time. But I'll have net there, so I signed up for a few prompts anyway... but really! Inconvenient.

Requested by [ profile] pectus_pectoris, who asked for Lambo/I-pin, I-pin not liking Italy. I've never written these two before. D:

I-pin never said anything about it, but it was obvious that she was uncomfortable at Vongola headquarters. She barely ever spoke except when necessary, because her Italian wasn't very good - and what was wrong with that? She'd spent years learning Japanese language and customs, and now to be transplanted someplace totally different, with a different way of speaking and doing things... well, it wasn't really a surprise that she was uncomfortable.

She didn't like the attention she got, either. A pretty young Chinese girl wasn't something that the Italian members of the Vongola family saw all that often. Lambo knew they weren't making her uncomfortable on purpose, they just didn't understand that she didn't want all that attention. She hadn't even wanted to come here in the first place, but with Tsuna taking his place as the new Vongola head, she'd felt like she had to.

Or at least, that's what Lambo thought. Even if she didn't say anything, they'd been friends for so long that he could tell she wasn't happy here. She didn't like Italy.

There was no reason that should bother Lambo so much. There were probably millions of people in the world who didn't like Italy, and he'd never cared. But this was I-pin, and it did bother him.

So he'd decided to fix it.

He'd dragged I-pin away from Vongola headquarters, telling both her and Tsuna that it was a business trip, and now they were here. Lambo lead her through the streets of Milan, and when he finally stopped and turned to her, her eyes were wide with surprise. "This is...?"

"Chinatown," Lambo said, and shrugged, looking away and back at her, strangely nervous. "I figured we could have Chinese for lunch. Been awhile, you know, I'm kind of sick of Italian."

I-pin's gaze lingered on the writing on the signs, eyes brightening as she realized she could finally read easily, finally see something familiar - different, of course, but a little bit like home.

Then she smiled at him, and Lambo knew he'd gotten something right.

This is so so adorable, just like I imagine this pairing to be. Also, the novelty of a Chinese girl among the Italian Family... I didn't even think of that. How awful it must be for I-pin. D: What Lambo did is so sweet~! ♥

Not bad on your first time writing them. :D Thank you so much! I love it! \o/

Thank you! I'm glad it worked. I wasn't sure it would. XD But I really do like these two, they have the potential to be so adorable, so it was fun to get the chance to write them! I'm happy you liked it. ♥
