ANDREALPHUS
Archangel of Love
"The world is alive. If we are to have any hope of making it, we must love it, and each other."
Andrealphus is practically the very definition of a Mercurian. He adores humanity, but at the same time, adores Heaven as well. There is little this archangel doesn't love, as he is known (and prides himself for) finding something worthy of love in everyone.
Andrealphus maintains a casual attitude with his servitors, seeing himself as more a big brother, parent, or best friend then as their boss. Although this is sometimes looked down upon by archangels such as Laurence, Angels of Love are some of the least likely to defect. 'A happy angel is a hard-working angel!' Andrealphus would always say. He's quick to help his servitors if they're in need, and can be rather fussy over them, like a parent. He also insists on his servitors calling him Andre. No, not 'Archangel Andre', just Andre.
Andrealphus's angels serve as heaven's therapists in a way, and, in a more sarcastic light, it's cheerleading squad. Some of the happiest and most caring angels come from his troop. They can be both a much needed comfort AND a perpetual annoyance. Sometimes at the same time. Never the less, angels of love rarely listen or care about their reputation, and never hold it against anyone who mentions it. They are sometimes deemed as useless by the more cynical, as they and their archangel avoid fighting at all costs, but their importance to heaven as the glue that keeps it together is not unknown.
Andrealphus's stance on demons is a rather simple one: "All are redeemable. Never give up trying." He does tell his servitors to fight back and defend themselves if attacked, and will comfort them and tell them not to feel bad if they're forced to kill a demon, but always, ALWAYS try redemption first. Some say this is because Andrealphus blames himself for all the archangels that fell, that it was his fault because he didn't love them enough.
When appearing on earth, Andre rarely uses something other then his favored human vessel - An achingly beautiful young man in his late teens/early twenties with long auburn hair and beautiful soft blue eyes.
Dissonance
Angels of Love walk the fine line of gaining dissonance for hindering a romance in any way. As the Beloved of heaven, it's their job to inspire love, not stop it (even if it's between an angel and a demon!). The one exception to this is if the love is not pure. A love that seems romantic but is just a farce, empty carnal lust, or a lie, offends Andrealphus very much, and no dissonance will be gained from ending it.
Choir attunements
Seraphim
Governing the love of God, or, more accurately, religion in general, Seraphim of Love see the truth in one's religious beliefs rather then inspiring it. By making a successful perception roll, on touch Andrealphus's Seraphim can tell how devoutly religious a human is, and with a high enough CD (GM's discretion), what religion they adhere to.
Cherubim
Divine Multi-taskers, Cherubim are the patrons of friendly love. On a successful resonance roll, not only can the Cherub tell where his attuned is, but also get a vague notion on where everyone they consider a close friend is, as well. (If the Cherub is also a friend of the attuned, this works to tell the Cherub where the hell HE is in the world as well!)
Ofanim
Spreaders of joy and preachers of the love of life, Andrealphus's Ofanim may, on a successful will roll, inspire someone to be overjoyed with life for a number of hours equal to the CD. However, this will only last the CD number of hours. After that, it's up to the human itself to keep the love going.
Elohim
The ultimate therapists, Andrealphus's Elohim specialize in self-love, inspiring them to accept and love themselves for who they are. Elohim of Love may add their Ethereal Forces to either the roll or the CD (must be chosen before hand) for their resonance when trying to figure out someone's emotional state about them self.
Malakim
Malakim of Love are almost never seen without at least one other of their ilk. They specialize in the love shared between brothers in arms, and understand how much having your comrades around means to a battle. When fighting alongside other Malakim, Malakim of Love add a bonus to all damage rolls equal to how many other Malakim they're fighting alongside. When fighting alongside other Malakim of Love, damage is TIMES how many of them there are! Strangely enough, they also tend to have a love for romance novels, and are known as the least Malakim-like Malakim in all heaven, avoiding battles when at all possible.
Kyriotates
Kyriotates of Andre are often deemed a 'family pet' of sorts. Specializing in Family Love, if a Kyriotate of Love wishes to possess a (willing!) member of the family of their current host, no will roll is needed to do so. They must be directly related, though. No going from child to their great aunt unless they make the trek between all the members of the family to make her a direct relation. Note that, yes, 'family' means any pets as well, if the current host cares about them enough to consider them family. Most Kyriotates choose a family and stick to it through generations upon generations.
Mercurians
Mercurians of Love are divine matchmakers. When using their resonance on someone, they can innately tell if they'd be a good match with ANYONE ELSE the Mercurian had ever resonated on before! (Though a perception roll may be required to remember some of the much older resonances, at GMs discretion.)
Bright Lilim
Bright Lilim of Love add their Corporeal forces when searching for a love-related need, AND add them to the penalty for the target's will roll to resist. They also adore romance novels, and have a tendency to act out the more dramatic non-erotic scenes in some with Malakim in the middle of the street.
Grigori
Godfathers and Godmothers to everyone, when making eye-contact and a successful perception roll, a Grigori of Love can tell how much a child's parent loves them, and, with a 5 or better CD, the child's opinion of their parents as well.
Servitor Attunements
Silly Love Songs
For those humans who just won't admit it to themselves, using this attunement, an angel can whistle, hum, or sing a few bars (or even the whole thing) or any love song. The person it's used upon will immediately take the song and think of it in context to their own life, admitting to themselves any crushes that they have that they previously could not admit to, or, in some cases, pushing them to admit it to their crush.
He Said/She Said
This attunement allows an angel, with the expense of one essence per person affected, will make someone basically shut up and listen to someone else's side of an argument, hearing them out. If more then one person is affected, the angel will pinpoint whom exactly it wants to speak first, and then the other person will wait patiently for the first person to finish explaining themselves (in a civilized manner), and then start explaining themselves. Rare is it indeed to find an angel with the distinction of Friend of Marriage Counselors who doesn't have this attunement.

The angel can 'hear' through the Symphony the degree of love in the area.
Friend of Marriage Counselors
The angel can tell innately whether two people have recently had a disturbance in their love. With eye contact with each person, the angel can tell exactly why they no longer feel as strongly as they did before. (i.e: He thinks she cheated, she thinks he doesn't trust her.) [Note: Although the angel is not REQUIRED to patch up the argument, it goes without saying that they are expected to.]
Master of Happily Ever Afters
By spending an amount of essence to the angel's choosing, (obviously, more essence spent equals better results) the next kiss the target of the attunement gives is magic, and can work miracles the likes of which have only been found in fairy tales. It can bring a man's wife out of her coma; make a gangster give up his life of crime to be with the girl he loves, etc. The only requirement is, the target MUST feel love for the person that they are kissing.
Relations
Andrealphus is possibly the most well liked archangel in all Heaven. He does his absolute best to get along with everyone and keep everyone working together, even in the most hopeless situations. However, why the Andrealphus ardently helps out the Archangel of the Sword so much is unknown to many, as they have almost radically different morals. Some rumor that the Archangel of Love has finally found a love of his own and has become smitten with the young Malakim…
