This is the last book in a series, and the others were good. So I'm going to be spoiler-free, in case anyone decides they want to read the other books.
That does, of course, limit the thing I can say. As an ending, it was good. It wrapped up all (or, almost all) the dangling plot threads from the past books, and it had a nice enough ending. It was what I expected would happen, although not what I hoped. But then, by now I'm used to the lack of big gay love.
Yeah... one of the slashiest series with a straight main character I've seen in awhile. I'd say I'm probably reading too much into it, except it's made pretty plain that, well, I'm not.
Gah! Attempting to be spoiler-free really limits what I can say. So, I'll just say it was a very good book, and end at that. Because I have food to eat now.
