You would think so, but sadly that's not the case. I think it's because a lot of fans of the pairing are more Hibari fans, and they don't really take the time to think about Mukuro's character as much because they're so focused on Hibari. The writing isn't BAD or anything, but Mukuro always seems to fall into a particular category instead them taking the time to really flesh out his character.
But then, I'm a Mukuro fan, so I have to represent for my team. XD
