I had to do Longchamp research for this one! Longchamp research: the best kind of research.
Requested by
nonoji, who asked for Longchamp and Hibari with optional nappo.
The Vongola famiglia had been through a lot. The Millefiore war, negotiating some kind of peace with the remnants of the Gesso, rebuilding their own family. And now, they had to reaffirm their ties and alliances with the families that hadn't been destroyed during the war.
Hibari only wished that some information they'd received during the war had been correct, and certain families had been destroyed.
One in particular.
"Oh! HIBARI-SAN! Isn't this meeting thing great? Wow, it's weird having a bunch of us old Namimori students here all together! I mean, who would've thought!"
Hibari turned to look at the speaker, the current bane of his existence.
Tsunayoshi greatly wished for peace among the families, and Hibari supported the goal of bringing order and discipline to the Mafia world, so he would not attack any of Tsuna's allies. Not even this one, no matter how much he wanted to.
"That reminds me!" Naito Longchamp, head of the Tomaso famiglia, said. "Did you meet my wife? This is her! Say hi, Mikacchin! Isn't she gorgeous?"
Hibari stared at the woman. He couldn't look away - he'd never seen anyone so... completely wrong. Her eyes weren't the same size. Her nose was off-center and, somehow, shaped like a croissant. Her hair looked like a nest of snakes, and her mouth was so small he wondered how she could even eat. Naito Longchamp's wife was hideous. Hibari opened his mouth to say just that (he wouldn't attack allies, but that didn't mean he had to be diplomatic) when a voice came from behind him.
"She's beautiful. You're a lucky man," Mukuro said, and Hibari uncharacteristically wished he'd never gotten out of bed that morning. Mukuro usually stayed far away from these meetings, but when he came, chaos always ensued.
"Aww, I know!" Longchamp said, a huge grin on his face. "Hey, do you two have girlfriends? I know Mikacchin has friends she can introduce to you guys! Let's do a group date!"
"Absolutely not," Hibari said, at the exact same moment Mukuro said, "That sounds fantastic!" He shot an evil smirk in Hibari's direction. "Kyoya can't get a date to save his life."
"Mikacchin's friends are beautiful, you'll love it! Okay, see you guys later!" And then Naito Longchamp was gone, Mukuro was laughing, and Hibari was left to consider how he was going to explain the upcoming deaths of the Tomaso head and Vongola Mist Guardian.
If he told the truth, Tsuna might understand.
